Thai Men NOT Doing Their Job?
April 29, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment
This story comes out of The Nation news.
The survey results are in question - but, it’s by DUREX condoms and they probably have a good idea about how to do a survey. Now, whether or not they know what to do with the results or not - is always in question. Statistics can be manipulated SO MANY ways as those of you that ever took a research class would understand.
If these results and the statement by the Thai sexologist are true about Thai men - they are outrageous! And, worse - if the Chinese and Japanese figures are correct they should just stop having sex altogether. What’s the point?
My comments in blue…
70% of Thai women cannot achieve orgasm
A recent global sex survey found that 70 per cent of Thai women cannot achieve orgasm. Others reach orgasm through masturbation or having sex with another woman, while 79 per cent of Thai men climax during sex, according to research by condom manufacturer Durex.
79% of men DO climax and 70% of women DON’T! Wow, that’s a huge difference. If we’re looking at 1000 couples, 790 men climax and only 300 women do. Wait a second, that might be about right anywhere… No, the USA must be higher - they neglect to tell us the figures there.
The survey was conducted in 26 countries and questioned 26,000 respondents about their sexual behaviour and attitudes. It revealed that 54 per cent of Thai couples cannot reach orgasm, while Italians, Spanish, Mexicans and South Africans are the most likely to climax almost every time, at 66 per cent. Only 24 per cent of Chinese couples achieve orgasm and the Japanese recorded 27 per cent.
I knew those damn Spanish - Latinos must be rocking the house. Hahha, joking of course… What about the USA? We do have a lot of Mexicans, African Americans and Spanish - they would contribute to our high marks. But, damn, we have a hell of a lot of Chinese and Japanese too. Maybe if they’re Chinese or Japanese in America - they have a higher incidence of “O”? All they’d have to do is watch some hip-hop videos to get the basic motions down. From there I’d guess it’s a walk in the park. Or, if the Chinese & Japanese couples invited their favorite Latino, African American or Mexican over for some drinks and to spend some time on foreplay and then should be easy from there maybe…
Sexologist Dr Pansak Sugkrakroek says most Thai women cannot reach orgasm because their partners do not know how to help them. “They just care about themselves,” he says. “Making love is a kind of art that they have to learn so that they can help their partners.” Pansak says some couples end relationships because they cannot help each other to reach orgasm.
Ha! That’s a male sexologist - Thai - telling the world this. Thai men just care about themselves. If this is true - it gives some credence to the rumors that I never bothered to believe. Sure I’ve heard stories from farang girls that have dated Thai guys but I blew it off. Maybe they don’t know how farang girls need it. You know? Maybe they were superheroes with Thai girls - who knows?
Does this sexologist know what HE’S doing to satisfy his partner? If his partner is a female there’s a 70% chance he doesn’t.
Taking more time can have a significant impact on the quality of orgasms. Those Thais fully satisfied with the intensity of their orgasms spend on average 3.9 more minutes on foreplay than those who are not, he adds.
I don’t know about you - but I must spend 4 minutes pulling her out of her always too tight jeans.
“Even though orgasms are not the be all and end all of sex, regularly achieving them improves emotional and overall wellbeing, as well as a bond with a partner. It can also help to reduce life’s stresses. Ideally, people should try to have orgasms regularly,” he says.
Great advice doc.
However, he suggests women should not fake orgasms because it could lead to conflict if partners discover the woman is not being sincere. He advises couples to learn how to improve their relationship rather than focus on orgasms.
Didn’t he just say to try to have orgasms regularly?

Hey - what about the ladyboys? I’ll venture to bet there’s not a ladyboy in the country that doesn’t have orgasms regularly and violently.
Anyone with me? They’ve gotta be the most sexually charged people in the whole country - besides the Arabs.
I’m so politically incorrect today.
Some Thoughts on Thailand
April 25, 2008 by admin · 3 Comments
I don’t regularly post here anymore. A couple hundred people reading my observations about the day is nice - but man, as most bloggers in Thailand are figuring out - it doesn’t pay the bills. Unless you’re going to be controversial as hell - or get a thrill about writing your online journal and sharing it with the world everyday there’s no real point in blogging full time in Thailand.
The rewards are few.
That said, I write for my family who still read this blog and so I can read it later when I’m back in the USA and hating life. The screwy stuff Thais’ did here will seem like nothing compared to the crap America slings. I know.
I met a guy from Phuket the other day. We spoke in Thai. He really doesn’t like Phuket at all. He was born there, grew up there. He hates what it has become. I told him at first - oh - you are lucky to live there. He said, “lucky why?”. That started our conversation about the horrible place it has become for him.
Too many Thais. Too many farang. Too much traffic. No culture. No Traditions.
Thais are very selfish. Consumed with making money to live. Focused on themselves, not others. Not ever their own kids. Parents whore out their daughters. Their sons. Their ladyboys. Everyone’s on drugs.
If there’s an accident - nobody cares, they look the other way sometimes.
Constant fights all over town. Drug wars, thievery… rape. Murder.
He was really sad about the state of Phuket. (around patong and phuket town)
It made me think of the Hawaiians - when I first got there in 1984 I had Hawaiians hold up big knives in the windows of their car as I rode by on my motorcycle. Why did they threaten me - what did I do? I was a white guy (haole) in their world. I was military too - which was worse in some ways. The USA basically took Hawaii with some smooth talk about protection and big money for those who ran it.
Some Thais’ in Phuket, Ko Samui - other places that have been destroyed by visitors, feel the same apparently. I think they’d better move - Patong isn’t getting any better anytime soon.
Just something I noticed.
There was something else I wanted to comment on - oh - rice.
I noticed that our favorite restaurants (all of them) have changed the excellent rice they used before to something low-grade. It sucks. What is Thailand doing with rice that it has shot up to a world-high? And, why?
There’s more rice in Thailand than any country in the WORLD. It exports more at least - yes? I’ve heard that somewhere. Anyway - we’re feeling the pain here in Thailand too. Low grade rice! The horror of it…
Oh yeah, gasoline is going WAY up too. We’ve had an increase of 4 baht per liter lately… that’s about 12 cents. Supposedly it’s going up another 5 soon. Jeez. Glad I don’t have a car or worse, a truck.
One more thing… If you haven’t been reading Brunty at http://isaanstyle.blogspot.com you’re missing a lot of action - jesus that guy constantly churns out interesting stuff. Today a review of the kids rape little girl incident that is making the rounds. The other day - Brunty kills his neighbor’s new car scratching chicken. Couple days before that Brunty fends off horny Thai guys at an outdoor concert at the village. There’s non-stop action at that blog man. It’s always interesting. GO SEE IT! I vote Brunty the best blogger in Thailand. Nobody else gives a piece of themselves like he does. Nobody says it like it is like he does. Nobody writes from the heart like he does. Really - I’ve read a hell of a lotta blogs in Thailand - mine included - nobody is telling it like Brunty (Jason).
Ok I’ll come back in a couple weeks. I’ll likely change the home page here back to an index because really there will be nothing here in the short-term.

Top 5 WTF’s about Thailand
April 2, 2008 by admin · 4 Comments
There are many things that I’m still saying ‘What the F_?” about here in Thailand. It started as I arrived in Bangkok. Some things I got over. Others - I’m still saying - WTF??
5. Telling time in Isaan. I still can’t. I lived there for 19 months and still ask me what time it is at 8am I couldn’t tell you in Isaan dialect to save my life. I think I have the hours of 1pm to 6pm down OK, but maybe not. WHY did they subtract 6 hours from what the clock SAYS it is? WHY, my god, why?
4. Answering the phone while driving a motorbike - rain or shine. As if motorbikes here weren’t dangerous enough. First of all how do they feel the phone ringing on vibrate? The motorbike is like a big vibrator - but still they can feel the tiny buzz of the mobile phone without fail. This is why I say, if the girl says she was on her motorbike and didn’t know the phone was ringing - it’s probably a lie. They are pre-wired to feel it.
3. How can Thais’ go through their entire lives without telling someone the simple command, “Don’t”?? How? I tell strangers “Don’t”. I tell stranger’s kids, “Don’t”. But I’ve heard the word only a handful of times in 3 years. Amazing. I guess in a good way. Not sure.
2. People that speed up from behind you only to jam on their brakes and make left turns directly in front of you. Forcing you to stop and cuss them, all the while losing face because you can’t deal with it the “Thai way”.
1. When Thai people don’t listen. I honestly think due to a genetic problem their eardrums don’t work. They’re well-intentioned, yes. Thankfully they read lips, but of course they can’t lip read your accent and so never really understand you. If I tallied all the times I interacted with a Thai person verbally the times they listened to what I said must hover around 50%. I want to say 10%, but that can’t be correct because I’d be a lunatic by this point.
The 10% figure is appropriate when talking about the number of times I ordered at a restaurant, the Thai repeated the order back, I said, “Yes, that’s right” and then was served something different than what I ordered.
Anyone care to share their WTF’s?
"Pussies Rescued from Deep Hole?"

The title of the story over at Pattaya City News was catchy, so I read it…
It’s a really lame story except for the fact that some Thai guy got SAVAGED by the pussy! Check out the last photo -the guy’s shirt is covered in blood. Did the pussy jump on his face or what? Where’s the rest of the story?
I really want to know about that savage pussy - please? Someone?
