A couple of sites I found recently that I raged about - it's just sick what people do... It takes a long time to create new, unique content, and to have people spinning my stuff and copying it outright is outrageous to me. There are a whole lot of talentless bloggers out there my friend!

I had a guy write me to ask if he could my ThaiPulse articles for his travel book yesterday.

I had a guy write me to ask if i was interested in translating my ebooks to Swedish. He politely remindeded me he could have ripped them right off if he wasn't such a nice guy and asked.

I was in contact with the guy that developed "60 minutes to learning the Thai Alphabet" who told me the thai podcast guy ripped off his entire concept of learning the Thai alphabet easily - and then insisted he came up with exactly the same pictures to represent the Thai alphabet - and remind people what the letters meant!

Sick, talentless, and stupid people are all over this country... and I'm talking about the visitors and expats. The Thais are the sane ones.

I've had enough... I'm taking a bat to the next one...

Wow man what got under your skin? I'm guessing you must be seeing some pretty aggressive scaping of your site?

Quite a rant there, but justified I suppose. I've seen the same thing, but assume it is just part and parcel on the internet. There's always gonna be scrapers out there taking your content, but I've found in most cases the original gets the ranking.

I don't have the time to follow up on this like you do, although maybe I should? Maybe start by doing some searches on my titles and see what comes back.

I agree with you wholeheartedly and I am one of the people in Thailand who provides their own original content.
