Do go have a look at the 175+ Thailand videos I have at YouTube about living in Thailand. Everything from snakes and scorpions to eating bamboo worms and waterbugs.
Aside from me being the one to give you the info about them… I haven’t had any problems with them ever. I opened my account, with my Thai g/f there, and after the realized that I was American and they had a rule that allowed Americans to open a bank account, I gave them money and got my account set up. I use my ATM card daily to withdrawn funds without any problems and get paid by direct deposit from my employer. If I withdraw from a non-Kasikorn bank account or out of my city then I am charged anywhere from 5 to 25 baht, which, of course, the ATM usually doesn’t tell you until after the transaction, if at all. But I like’em.
