English Writer Needed: Hello Philippines?

December 27, 2009 by Vern

There must be a couple of million people in the Philippines that could use some extra money – and yet I can’t seem to find one that can help me out with some writing projects I have.

I really need someone that can:

1. Do some online research for me. I’ll be creating ebooks and I need to have someone help me do research that will help me write the books.

2. Your English should be very strong and probably you have a degree in English from a university. You can write English well.

3. You know how to use Google, online forums, and other resources that help me find background information for my book topics.

4. You need a full-time, 8 hour per day job – 5 days/week.

5. You can accept Paypal or Western Union as a payment solution.

Write me if this is you!

I wish you’d fix your RSS feed. It used to be fine, but now every post starts with a lot of repetitive automatic verbiage. For example, this post:

The actually excerpt is uselessly short.

    That should be “actual excerpt”.

Oh, I just discovered your blog recently and read a ton of posts, which I wouldn’t have done if they weren’t good :-)

Thanks Jean. This one is puzzling because my preview in Wordpress where I setup this plugin gives me a preview that shows the statement just once. I’m not sure what’s up.

The other problem you noticed… I cut short all full-RSS feeds because I have too many people ripping off my content and calling it – in subtle, and not so subtle ways – their own.

Ideally you’ll come to the site sometimes and check out what’s new in the right side column under – Recent.

Sorry the feed sucks – I understand, but it likely won’t change anymore – just look at it as an alert that I posted something new there.

Did you see the new Thailandebooks.com site yet?

Comments welcome.
