I started posting the original articles I wrote a while back but didn’t have them online anywhere. Here’s Railay Beach, Krabi – a photo tour. If you’re planning on going to Krabi you really should hit Railay for the experience.
There are some excellent swimming spots, snorkeling is OK, climbing is world-class and the hotels are not that expensive during off-season – even 400 baht on Krabi East side.

It’s easy to reach Railay beach from Ao Nang beach – it’s a 10 minute longtail boat ride for 100b. Can even reach Railay from Krabi town – it’s a 30 minute longtail ride and will cost 150 to 250 baht per person depending on how many in the boat.
