Thalen Bay (Ao Thalen Bay) Krabi Things to See

Thalen bay is a scenic bay that doesn't have a lot to do - but there is kayaking and it does have beautiful scenery if you go on a sunny day. There is a small fishing community in Thalen Bay and there is not much of a tourism component to the area. Which might be what you're looking for? Thalen Bay is located north and west of Ao Nang and Ao Nopparat Thara beaches which you may be more familiar with. If you have a vehicle (motorbike or other) you can find it by taking Highway 4202 northeast to where it connects with Highway 4034 going northwest. Make a left at Ban Khao Klom village and toward the signs for Ao Thalen. You can also reach it by going to Tha Pom Nature trail and then following the road south toward Ao Thalen. There are signs.
