Lang Rongrian cave was the subject of a past archaelogical dig. It was a burial site and skeletons from 37,000-40,000 years old were found along with pottery, shells, and other artifacts. This time period was known as the Pleistocene era. These were the oldest skeletons (and other artifacts) found in southern Thailand. It's possible to climb up into the cave in a couple places - and supposedly the locals left some bones deep in the cave for the tourists to see. I saw somethings that looked like bones - but I think they are animal bones and not human. You can decide for yourself. This is a very small cave on the way from Krabi town to Huay To waterfall. I'll get some more specific directions later as I don't have the name of the road on any of the 4 Krabi maps I have.
Park on the road as nobody uses that road much. You MIGHT get dirty if you don't stay on your feet - it's slippery during the rainy season as the red mud is like slippery clay.
