These are some of the worst headlines I've found. I just want to balance out the idea that the land of smiles is not all smiles. You've got to think of it as any other country - dangerous at times and it's best to stay on your toes.  Some of us have such a rosey view of Thailand, but usually those of us that live here full-time see a different picture.  MOST things never see the newspapers... talk to Thais' to get the rest of the stories that SHOULD have made the news.
