the program. What is a colonic and what is a bit of the history and
process? We hope to answer those questions here with a little help

In as short a definition as possible... a colonic is a cleansing of
the colon. The colon is a intestinal tube nearly 2 meters long and
just about 6cm in diameter. A colon that is functioning normally has

It might be hard to believe, but the average male living in Europe
is walking around with over 5 kg of thick toxic sludge in his
bowels. The makeup of this material is a thick mucous that has not
been able to pass. This layer of mucous can have many effects: IBS,
constipation, fatigue, headaches, general malaise, aching joints,
and depression due to the body not functioning normally and the mood
is affected as a result.
The poisons circulate via the blood through the lymphatic system to

What is Colonic Irrigation?
Colonic irrigation, is a colon-bath that cleanses the colon of

these substances. There is no holding of the water that is used
inside you, rather, using gravity, the water is gently rinsed inside
you and flushes out gently. Usually a massage on the stomach is used

How is a Colonic Given?
A person receiving a colonic, lies on a special table which is about
1 meter below the colonic water bottles. The tube that directs the
water into your colon is inserted by yourself usually, though in Ko
Samui they do have trained specialists to do it for you if you are
not comfortable. The flow of water is controlled by yourself or the
person helping you. The water flows in, picks up the harmful
byproducts of digestion, and then flows back out into a catch basin
below. This process can continue for over half an hour to be done
thoroughly.
Are there Side Effects?
There are no side effects. It is not uncommon however, for some
people to start to feel like they have a cold or a headache after a
colonic. Toxins which have been lying dormant in the colon are now
being flushed out and a small amount may be re-absorbed into the
body's system. This healing crisis passes quickly and the person
will realise a feeling of well-being with further treatments.-
