Relaxing on Ko Samui Thailand at Sunset...

Ko Samui Thailand is not all go, go, go! Relaxation can be had.

At sunset down near grandfather rock "Hin Dta" and grandmother rock "Hin Yai" a group of people always seem to be around and invariably they go to sit on some of the boulders that overlook the ocean.

Some sit with headphones and their iPods. Some read a book. Others came with friends. Some just vegetate until the sun goes down... a very relaxing way to end the day...



You really should go check out this area for relaxing at sunset and bring food for a picnic. It's safe and sometimes there is a guy playing guitar there or other music. It's a good place to bring a date or the family - children included, before the sunset and you head off to find dinner.

Coincidentally if you are coming out of Grandmother and Grandfather rock place - and you want to eat... look no further than the restaurant just to your left (next to you). They have great Thai Food and decent prices too. We've eaten there many times and we've not had a bad experience. The restaurant is called "Sabiang Lay", it means "beach terrace"! Lots of Thais' eat there - that's how we first knew it would be good! Enjoy!
