Making a Krathong |

 Once you've made 2 quarter folds toward the center from each side you just fold it in half. There will be four of these side pieces in one section and one very skinny section rolled up and put into the center. |
 Here she has folded one side and put the skinny piece in the middle. She'll now fold the other side toward the center, resulting in 3 points. |

 Here she has finished a right and left side and has the skinny point in the middle of them. |
 Now 2 on left and 2 on right are finished and the skinny one in the middle. This is one section. |

 The bottom is cut off straight because it will sit as shown on the side of the cross-sectioned banana tree. |
 Hold the section to the side of the cross section with straight pins. You might need as many as 3 or 4 per section. |
