Here are some of the Buddha amulets (pendants, charms) we have for sale at the present time...  These are all priced as low as we will sell them for, so please do not email to ask if we can sell them for lower prices. If you want very low priced (and cheap) amulets Ebay has many sellers that are selling very poor quality amulets. We don't sell less than authentic amulets here or at our Ebay auctions.

Ajahn Jumnien, Abbot of Krabi, Thailand's "Wat Tum Sua", Tiger Cave Temple. This a good luck and protection from physical dangers amulet from Wat Tum Sua in Krabi province in the south of Thailand. Ajahn Jumnearn, now 71, is known as the 'good luck monk', in Thailand.

This is our home temple at the present time as we are in the south in Krabi province. Ajahn Jumnearn is very busy at the temple creating Jatukum and other amulets. He is well revered across Thailand as being the monk known for good luck, protection and for money coming into your possession. This amulet was made specifically for that reason. All Ajahn Jumnein amulets are blessed by him specifically. We have many photos of Ajahn Jumnien at our main www.thaipulse.com web site.

Here is a link to a small site I created about

Protection amulet, healing hands of Aj. Jumnien. Krabi, Thailand.

Around the edge is a Pali chant... it says,

Sup pha put tha nu pha weh na,
sup pha tham ma nu pha weh na,
sup pha sung kha nu pha weh na,
sa tha soat tee pha wan tu dteh

When you put this amulet around your neck on a chain you hold the amulet between your hands folded in prayer and say this chant.

The 'u' in the words above is a long u like oooh. the 'weh' is pronounced 'way'. All other vowels resemble English pronunciation.

On the reverse side of the amulet are Ajahn Jumnien's healing hands to ward off bad luck and to give you personal protection. It's impossible to see by this photo - and I'll get a better photo up here soon, but there is a meditating monk at the bottom of the two hands - and between them.

This is a very popular protection amulet which the temple began selling in 2549 (2006).

Apparently Ajahn Jumnien had quite a childhood... his father had him wrestle and catch crocodiles, cobras, and bandits that came into the village. He was doing this by age 9!

His father knew that of all his children, Aj. Jumnien was special. He taught him meditation from the early age of 5 yrs and he himself had developed many powers during meditation. It was said that his father could tell what the boy was thinking as he meditated. Aj. Jumnien has some incredible stories about that time period. If you're curious, here is a link to a free preview of a book about Aj. Jumnien and 2 other monks, one of which is Buddhadassa Bhikku from Suan Mokkh just north of Aj. Jumnien and in the province of Chaiya. The other monk I didn't know...

( There should be a link to some chapters about Aj. Jumnien, but I am always offline when I'm editing this page! :(  If you go to http://books.google.com and type in "Buddhist Masters" you should find it. Aj. Jumnien is in the last chapter I believe. Sorry, I will get the link in here sometime)

This oval shaped silver colored amulet with Ajahn Jumnien's healing hands on the reverse side comes from Krabi province in the south of Thailand. Wat Tum Sua is the originator of this amulet, also known as the Tiger Cave Temple. This amulet is guaranteed authentic.

Want more than 1 amulet?

We need to send each amulet with it's own envelope, separately. There are two reasons for this:

1. We won't lose both amulets if we mail them both at the same time in the same envelope.

2. The weight in the envelope won't be so much that customs will give it a second look. We've had great success mailing one at a time and we need to stick with that formula! We hope you understand...

If you want to order 5 or more amulets please send an email to us at: TryThaiFood@gmail.com so we can put together a custom invoice for you after you agree on the price. We can cut a little bit off the price if ordering 5 or more.
